EWS is focused on serving the needs of smallholder vegetable farmers in tropical areas.

We promote the adoption of improved seed varieties, combined with better farm management, as the key to increasing the productivity and income of farmers.

Farmers regard East-West Seed as a highly trusted brand for quality vegetables seeds.

After more than 35 years in the market, we remain a farmer centric-company focused on serving the needs of smallholder farmers in tropical areas

East-West Seed markets specifically designed packs for smallholder farmers: the Value Pack range and the Go Grow range. These packs are affordable, they encourage trials towards crop diversification, and they allow farmers to grow multiple crops together in a small piece of land.

The Value Pack is a range of products offering different crops packed by seed count in aluminum pouches with a small number of seeds (between 6-3000 seeds) at a same retail price for all varieties.

The Go Grow pouch is also a range of products offering varieties that are relatively easy to produce with a 4-page production guideline. Seed is also packed in aluminum pouch by seed count covered by a thick folder carton containing growing instructions in the local languages. This Go Grow package provides easy to understand “how to grow” info through pictures and graphics alongside text.
